Large abstract landscape in a range of gray, brown, tan, ochre, and touches of red. By Robert Baranet (1925- 2001) renowned Abstract Impressionist who studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Barnes Foundation.
"Twilight" is second of his "Western Series" which he painted in 1982. It is inspired by the vast vistas and endless possibilities inherent in America's western states . Signed lower right hand corner. Also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the artists daughter. Provenance bieng from the family as this work has been in their possesion since leaving the artist's studio post his death.
Measures 48" wide x 36" high x 2" deep.
