A native of Pasadena California - Paul Casebeer was a prolific plein air painter during the late 20th century. His primary focus being the rugged beauty of the Arroyo Seco. Since then he has moved on to other artistic pursuits. Making his paintings from this period highly desirable. This oil on board work captures a North Arroyo Seco vista. Where the Los Angeles River winds beneath the distant San Gabriel mountains. Signed "P. Casebeer" in red on the lower left. Includes a lovely carved gold frame.
