This pair of fire gilt brass girandoles were given to Sir Thomas and Lady Acland - 10th Baronet of Columb John (Devon) - on Xmas 1836 by their children. As engraved on the four sides of each base. Truly unique they blend regency acanthus leaf bases with five floral candle branches featuring gilt brass lilies, leaves, and porcelain blossoms. One sided they were designed to sit on a mantle, sideboard, or possibly church altar. Each measures 20" wide x 16" deep x 19" high. Both are in very good condition. However several leaves are broken or missing. It appears that some restoration has been done as the marble bases are newer. Along with several newer candle cup inserts. These candelabra are quite heavy and cannot be disassembled as their branches and base are soldered together. Post purchase an additional $175 shipping fee will be billed via PayPal for FedEx Home/Ground Shipping within the 48 contiguous states. See the "Shipping & Handling" sidebar for details.
