This exceptionally large antique Chinese "wedding" basket. Its' original purpose being to hold a bevy of delicacies given in tribute to a bride and groom. Hand painted and embellished with Chinese characters on it's handle - side - and lid reverse. Features unique multi tiered handle which spreads out when it connects to the base basket itself. Also includes an inner basket "tier".

Measures 30" tall x 20" diameter.
