Frankly, we've never seen any like this dynamic duo before. ONE OF A KIND vintage seventies pair of French fauteuils with custom brush stroke fabric reminiscent of a Franz Kline abstract. Each features a hand-carved and limed beech frame. Upholstery ground is a "burlap" hued beige with custom applied black brush strokes over. Each back is upholstered in a contrasting yet compatible fabric (see photo for details). Each chair measures 27" wide x 38" high x 22" deep. Both are in very good vintage condition. Upholstery shows very minimal signs of wear with many years of use still in its future. Frames are structurally sound and quite sturdy with minor dings, scratches, and wear commensurate with vintage age/use. All of which only add to its chic patina. No visible manufacturer label, stamp, or markings.
