Throwing pottery is if nothing else a delicate balancing act. A studio pottery bowl this large is rare because few can "throw" something of such a scale. It stands 10" high x 15" in diameter. Yet due to the potter's skill its outer walls are elegantly thin. Created in the seventies by Dale Donovan of Corvallis, Oregon. "Oatmeal" glaze in an abstract pattern. Inscribed signature "D.L. Donovan" on bottom.
