Almost every home needs an occasional bright spot. Which makes this antique urn-shaped lamp the perfect accent to a library desk, hall console, or bedroom dresser. The urn shaped body is formed from some soft of gunmetal, spelter, or pewter metal. With what appears to be a worn, patinated bronze finish. Its current black linen - gold foil lined lampshade sits atop the base. However it can also sit atop the original glass shade. The choice is yours. The lamp is unmarked hence manufacturer or origin is unknown.
 
Fully assembled with shade atop measures: 22" high x 10" diameter. 
Lamp alone (sans glass or fabric shades) measures 16.25" high x 4.5" wide x 4.5" deep.
 
Lamp itself is in excellent antique condition. "Newer" definately not original wiring has been tested and is fully operational. Metal is purposefully patinated and displays a variety of surface marks, pitting, and nuances which only add to its charm. Lampshade is in almost new condition with now dents, marks, or issues of note. Frosted glass shade is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, frosting loss, or issues of note.
