Polychrome Qing Dynasty (late 19th century) Chinese porcelain "foo" dog (or lion). Quite rare - its pastel hues are still chic over a century later. Designed to hold incense it features a "holder" in its center. Jand glazed in a range of pink, imperial yellow, turquoise, green, and blue. Unmarked.
Be sure to check out the coordinating pair of larger antique petite foo dogs. The three together make quite a decorative statement.
Measures 4.5" tall x 3.5" wide x 1.58" deep.
In very good antique condition. Structurally sound with no major damage beyond various chips, "dings" and wear commensurate with antique Chinese pottery. See photos for details
