For the latter part of the 20th century Ken Edwards hand-crafted some of America's best pottery in his central Montana studio. Blending his historical knowledge of Asian pottery with in-depth training in the art of ceramics in Japan. The result being delicate forms enrobed in rare and sophisticated glazing. This particular bowl features an asymmetrical scalloped edge that is perforated with "bubbles". Its outer side has an ombre effect glaze that ranges from the palest gray to a rich blue. The interior is a deep blue/green celadon. Signed "Edwards" on the bottom.
Measures 12" diameter x 7.5" high.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, glaze loss, or crazing.
