In 1968 two Brits established the first glass making company on the island of Malta. Since then "Mdina" skilled artisans have produced unique glass creations. This vase being a perfect example of their work. Turquoise and green hues form the core of the vase encircled by two bands of transparent glass. Quite heavy - it is a substantial piece of art. Etched "Mdina" signature on polished pontil base. 
 
Measures 5" wide x 3.5" deep x 5.5" high.
 
In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, surface scratches, etching, or clouding.  Except for some very minor "scuff" scratches on bottom.. See photos for details.
